Pricing and Analytics Manager

About the role
The Pricing and Analytics Manager is responsible for defining and executing comprehensive pricing strategies and analytical frameworks for high-capacity solutions in media processing and content delivery, including premium live event contribution, remote production, and distribution.
This role combines strategic pricing leadership with advanced analytics to optimise revenue performance across a diverse product portfolio in a rapidly evolving media technology landscape. You will develop SaaS, subscription, and hybrid pricing models, drive pricing simplification and bundling initiatives, and support sales teams with tools and insights that enable data-driven decision-making.
As the Salesforce CPQ lead, you’ll configure and manage pricing workflows, approval structures, and reporting systems that support scalable, consistent commercial operations. This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring close collaboration with Product Management, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to align pricing strategies with Appear’s product and business objectives.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Pricing & Revenue Management
- Define and implement pricing strategies aligned with market positioning and revenue goals
- Develop SaaS, subscription, and hybrid pricing models and maintain a strategic pricing roadmap
- Drive simplification initiatives including product bundling and flexible discount structures
Salesforce CPQ Implementation & Management
- Configure and optimise Salesforce CPQ pricing rules, approval workflows, and quote processes
- Ensure integration with ERP systems and provide user training and support for sales teams
Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Build dashboards and models to track pricing KPIs, competitive trends, and revenue performance
- Conduct scenario analyses, forecasting, and predictive analytics to guide strategic decisions
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and market dynamics to inform strategy
- Provide actionable insights on supply chain costs, regulatory changes, and market shifts
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Sales Support
- Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, and Marketing on pricing strategies and bid support
- Provide deal guidelines, approval frameworks, and commercial analysis for major tenders
Revenue Growth & Optimisation Initiatives
- Lead projects to identify and capture growth opportunities through pricing optimisation
- Develop upselling, cross-selling, and incentive structures supporting revenue objectives
- Oversee pricing change management, customer communication, and contract migration
Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or analytics—preferably in media technology or enterprise software
- Proven track record in B2B pricing across hardware, software, and services
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and pricing model implementation
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with proficiency in data visualisation tools
- Strategic and structured communicator with strong stakeholder management abilities
