Compliance Manager

The Compliance Manager will take ownership of the company’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements across all business operations. This includes managing compliance for hardware-related regulations, broader industry standards, and general corporate governance. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Compliance Manager will work closely with internal teams to assess, monitor, and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance practices are effectively integrated into daily business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s compliance program.
- Stay informed on global and regional regulatory changes affecting operations.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance integration throughout business processes.
- Establish, review, and enforce internal compliance policies.
- Design and implement training programs to raise compliance awareness.
- Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide regular updates on compliance status and risks to senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, and legal bodies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a compliance role, ideally within a hardware or technology-driven industry.
- Understanding of the media tech or telecommunications industry and experience managing compliance in a global environment.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory environments related to hardware, software, product certifications, safety standards, and data privacy regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze compliance issues and provide practical solutions, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Compliance-related certifications such as CCEP, CIPP, or similar are highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional qualifications in compliance or regulatory affairs are a plus.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially for dealing with international compliance matters.
