About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated System Robustness Engineer who is passionate about developing and maintaining reliable, robust system solutions. As part of the QA team, this role is crucial in ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of performance and stability.

You will collaborate closely with development teams and the QA team to deliver high-quality solutions for our customers. In this role, you will also become an expert and internal resource in the broadcast domain, with in-depth knowledge of robustness requirements and common system setups in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tests to assess system robustness and document results

• Simulate scenarios to identify performance issues

• Provide recommendations and ensure broadcast integration

• Define requirements and validate solutions with teams

• Develop Python scripts to perform automated testing of system robustness, analyze test results, and log them for documentation
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Experience in broadcast systems and robustness standards

• Proficiency in IP, SMPTE protocols, SDI, video, and audio systems

• Skilled in performance testing, fault analysis, and system optimization

• Skilled in using Python tools (e.g., pytest) for performance testing, fault analysis, and system optimization

• Familiarity with network emulators, stream generators, and test equipment (e.g., Tektronix Prism, Phabrix)

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
