Head of IT and Security
We are looking for an experienced professional to fill the role as Head of IT and Security, a crucial position within our organization focusing on operational efficiency, strategic development, and cybersecurity. This will be a key role in leading our company towards greater security competence and overall responsibility. Working hands-on on significant infrastructure projects and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Reporting directly to the COO, the ideal candidate will possess a blend of managerial experience, technical expertise, and a passion for system development.

1: Strategic IT Operations and Security:
- Lead and actively participate in developing and implementing IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices, emphasizing security and compliance.
- Oversee and actively manage the network infrastructure, servers, and cloud-based resources to optimize performance and availability.
- Drive cybersecurity measures and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
2: System Development and Architecture:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain technology infrastructure that supports organizational growth objectives.
- Initiate system development initiatives aligned with strategic goals, focusing on scalability and adaptability.
3: Team Leadership and Project Management:
- Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning.
- Set performance goals for the IT team, providing mentorship, feedback, and opportunities for skills development.
- Manage and work hands-on, on large infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Extensive experience in IT operations management, with a focus on security and infrastructure.
- Proven track record in building, operating, and securing systems.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards, with relevant certifications.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a structured and organized approach to program management.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans and drive results.
