As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented, creative and motivated Marketing Associate to join our dynamic marketing team. This role will report directly to the Marketing Manager, based in Oslo, and will play a crucial part in executing successful marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Job Summary

As a Marketing Associate at Appear, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in planning and implementing various marketing strategies to promote our products/services and create brand awareness. Appear is an international business, so you will collaborate closely with regional and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing efforts.

The Marketing Associate's role requires flexibility in supporting different aspects of the marketing department's operations as outlined below.

Key Responsibilities

• Administrative Excellence: Provide vital support to the marketing team through efficient scheduling, organizing documents, and generating insightful reports on marketing performance
• Strategic Execution: Assist in the formulation and deployment of comprehensive marketing campaigns across diverse channels, spanning digital, social media, email, and events
• Lead Generation Support: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to implement lead generation strategies, overseeing the management of landing pages, forms, and campaign tracking mechanisms
• Social Media Proficiency: Take charge of managing the company's social media platforms, including content scheduling, active community engagement, and vigilant brand mention monitoring
• Collateral Management: Contribute to the creation and upkeep of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, data sheets, and product guides, ensuring their availability and accuracy for the sales team
• Data Management: Maintain marketing databases, including customer lists and segmented data, to support targeted marketing efforts
• Event Coordination: Provide valuable support in planning and coordinating company events, trade shows, and conferences, ensuring seamless execution and authentic brand representation
• Brand Management: Safeguard the consistent application of brand guidelines across all marketing materials and communication channels

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• 1-3 years’ experience in marketing coordination or related roles, preferably within the telecoms, media or technology industry
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and content creation
• Proficiency in using marketing tools such as Google Analytics, social media management platforms, and email marketing software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience with creative tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Canva
• Experience with CRM systems, specifically Hubspot
• Experience with WordPress and website publishing / CMS
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate effectively with various functions
• Proactive attitude
• Digital photography and video editing experience/interest a plus
