As a part of our scale up process, we are looking for a skilled and talented hardware developer to join our R&D team. 

Candidate profile

• You have a MS of Electronic Systems Design or equivalent
•  You have experience working with digital and analogue electronic design
• You have knowledge of PCB design and “best practices”
• You enjoy working with electrical circuit design for embedded systems

You possess strong interest and solid skills in hardware development and takes great pride in designing quality hardware. The perfect team member is motivated and inspired by working in a team, but is also able to work independently.  Learning new technologies and continuously improving skills are key elements of our company culture, and we pride ourselves on successfully meeting demanding customer requirements.

You have some experience with

• High speed digital signals
• Signal integrity
• RF design and test
• High-speed memory (DDR4)
• Power management
• Schematics tools (Allegro, OrCad, or similar)

Working at Appear

On the First Day, you will join our team of HW developers responsible for all hardware that is part of the Appear product portfolio. The manager will introduce you to the team and give you an overview of the Appear products. 

Within the First Month, you'll start doing HW design and schematics together with an experienced designer. Following the schematics work, you will assist the layout designer with information on component placement and routing.  When the prototype arrive from production you will participate in test and and verification of your design. 

 Upon finishing the First Year, you're established as a core team member. You will have made a direct impact on key solutions we provide to some of the largest TV operators in one of the most dominant industries in the world. At Appear you get to be involved from inception to realization of a product.
