As a part of our scale up process, we are looking for technically skilled and dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to help secure new projects in North America in close cooperation with our Global Pre-Sales teams. You will be located in United States, preferably at the East Coast. Business travel is expected on a regular basis, both within the region and overseas.

We are looking for an individual with superior technical understanding combined with good communication skills that have the ability to work with our customers to make sure the offered solutions meet their operational requirements.
- 3-5 years of technical sales experience
- Relevant higher education: MSc., Cand. Scient (or equivalent). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand technical complex video delivery systems
- Fluency in English
- Shows initiative
- Strong communication skills with all levels and al departments of the organization internally and externally
- Availability to travel as needed in the region.
- In depth understanding in two or more of the following areas:
- Digital Video distribution network design
- Video compression
- TCP/IP technologies, networks and protocols
- Cloud and cluster-based system architectures
You will have a positive attitude; want to work with an experienced team, developing tomorrow’s TV technology and products. Fluency in English is a minimum requirement. Traveling should be expected.
- Design technical solutions in accordance with customer technical and operational needs
- Provide technical support to sales team
- Provide technical responses to bids and RFPs/RFIs
- Collect market input to assist with further growth of the company
- Demonstrate Appear's solutions to customers
- Participate in trade shows and exhibitions
